Pioneering the Future of CTV: Why I Joined Anoki as Chief Commercial Officer
After over two decades in the digital advertising, programmatic video and CTV space, I'm thrilled to announce my new role as Chief Commercial Officer at Anoki AI, a pioneering AI company focused on revolutionizing contextual advertising, content discovery and viewer engagement within the CTV landscape. This decision marks an exciting new chapter in my career, and I'd like to share why I believe Anoki AI is poised to revolutionize this space.
A Journey Through Digital Advertising
My career has been deeply intertwined with the evolution of digital video advertising. From my early days at MTV and Tremor Video, where I was part of the team that launched some of the earliest innovative video formats from Sequential Video Insertion to Innovid Choice to Scanscout Overlays, and then into my role driving national premium video guaranteed on a standardized OpenID at OpenAP, I've been at the forefront of video advertising's transformation. I've witnessed and participated in the industry's growth from desktop pre-rolls to mobile video, linear television, and now to the expansive world of CTV and streaming.
This journey has given me a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in our rapidly changing industry. As privacy regulations become more complex and audience targeting faces new hurdles, I recognized the need for solutions that can navigate these challenges while delivering exceptional value to both advertisers and viewers alike.
Why Anoki AI?
When Raghu Kodige, Anoki AI's Co-Founder and CEO, approached me about what he was building, I knew he was going to create something revolutionary to change the face of CTV advertising, the same way he did many years ago with ACR. Having worked with Raghu for about 10 years, I've always admired his product leadership and ability to bring complex technologies to life for clients. His vision for Anoki AI - to leverage the latest AI and machine learning to deeply understand video content at the scene level and revolutionize content discovery - resonated with me on both a professional and personal level. The depth of what he is building was not currently possible even two years ago, and I wanted to watch from the ground up a company built on the latest technology capabilities. The industry is seeking a way to better analyze content delivery and leverage AI solutions for contextual relevant placement, and I know Anoki AI will be instrumental in this revolution.

- AdMagic: As someone who's always been passionate about innovative ad formats, AdMagic's use of Generative AI to create and personalize video ads is incredibly exciting. The potential to economically produce hyper-tailored content based on factors like mood, weather, and location opens up new possibilities for creative advertising.
- LiveTVx: As a user of this product, I've experienced firsthand how Anoki's AI can transform the viewing experience. The platform's ability to curate and prioritize channels tailored to our personal viewing habits has revolutionized how my family and I consume content.
On a personal level, as a mother of two daughters, Anoki AI’s LiveTVx app has transformed our family viewing time. The personalized channel curation eliminates the endless scrolling we used to endure, seamlessly transitioning from family-friendly sitcoms in the early evening to my preferred true crime dramas and romantic comedies later at night. I like to say the content finds us, as evident by my daughter’s new found admiration of 80’s and 90’s sitcoms like ALF and Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
This level of personalization and understanding of viewer behavior is not just impressive - it's the future of CTV. And it's a future I want to be part of building and shaping. I also want to be a part of a company that I believe has the longevity to not only survive but thrive in the advent of AI intelligence. Looking Ahead
As Chief Commercial Officer at Anoki, I'm excited to lead the sales efforts working with my closest client and agency partners while also driving ad tech adoption to establish a new category of multimodal contextual intelligence in CTV. I see immense potential in Anoki's AI licensing opportunities and its ability to enhance the FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) ecosystem working with leading content publishers to better equip their infrastructures with new personalization capabilities. I also look forward to bringing Anoki’s AI scene level meta data to enhance data marketplaces and shelf space in key platforms with new pre- and post-campaign transparency capabilities. Finally, I am excited to support Anoki’s LiveTVx O&O curating, further streaming channels desired to delight the viewer as well as create enhanced ad experiences for our advertiser partners and a new FAST 2.0 Curated Inventory solutions for demand side and sell side platforms.
The CTV landscape is evolving rapidly, and Anoki is at the forefront of this evolution. By combining cutting-edge AI technology with a deep understanding of both advertiser and viewer needs, Anoki is poised to deliver a truly next-generation CTV experience.
As I heard Jeffrey Katzenberg recently warn, the companies who do not harness AI face a hard reality of potentially ceasing to exist in the next two years. Yes, there are many new companies now coming in fast to the marketplace, but I believe Anoki AI will be a major player in ushering in the next wave of FAST 2.0. I'm honored to be part of a company built on AI from day one and look forward to contributing to Anok AIi's growth and success in the years to come.
