Software Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for highly skilled and motivated Software Engineers with a strong technical background and a natural curiosity and interest in solving problems efficiently and elegantly. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing application and/or server-side software, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and server-side systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
• Optimize and improve existing code for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the software stack.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in software development.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on application or server-side development.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Scala, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and experience designing efficient data models.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and automated testing.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React or Svelte.
